Amrok Manual Dedicated Fixtures Arrive Ready to Work in Real-World Applications

Whether it's machined tombstones, custom fixtures or a modular system, AME can meet your requirements and ensure that the fixture you get is the fixture you want. AME designs and builds ready-to-use dedicated manual fixtures from the ground up for horizontal and vertical machining centers and other CNC machinery.

We use the best components to build your fixture. Whether it's our own Amflex clamps and jigs, Triag workholding system components, Jakob clamps, or clamps and components from virtually any other manufacturer, rest assured we'll pick the components needed to do the job right, cycle after cycle.

Amrok Tombstones Hold the Tightest Tolerances

AME provides a variety of cast iron, aluminum and steel tombstones, as well as Triag epoxy mineral tombstones. Standard and precision tombstones are available in virtually any configuration, from semifinished plain face to hole-grid patterns with precision bushings and threaded inserts. All steel and cast-iron tombstones and plates are stress-relieved for highest accuracy and can be custom-fit to the machining center using any point of reference, including edge locator with hardened and ground wear pads, center locator or custom-specified mounting holes.

Amrok tombstones are precision-engineered to hold the industry's tightest tolerances for flatness (.0005/12 in.), parallelism (.0005/12 in.), perpendicularity (.0008/12 in.), surface finish (63 RMS) and every other machining measurement. The tombstones are built, tested and performance-verified using AMEs in-house coordinate measuring machines, so proof of performance can be verified with a full CMM report, available upon request.

Triag Modular Workholding Systems Offer Many Clamping Options

Triag workholding systems combine the characteristics and performance of a dedicated fixture in a modular platform.

Triag's modular workholding systems use compact clamp, power clamp and microclamp technology to hold from mid-size to very small parts in high densities while allowing easy part change for fast retooling.

Breakthrough clamping designs minimize interference, so machine spindles have full access to workpieces, even in high-density applications. Access is even better for five-axis machines using Triag's 5axesCLAMP.

Triag pioneered lightweight epoxy mineral tombstones that have characteristics similar to cast iron but that are as light as aluminum. The tombstones are also compact, rigid and economical - the perfect foundation for holding extremely tight tolerances.

Dedicated hydraulic fixture using Amforce cartridges which are mechanically clamped cylinders (detail shown at right). Hydraulics are required to unclamp the workpiece. No need to worry about the loss of hydraulic pressure during machining.
