AME Becomes Rockford Chamber of Commerce Member
Rockford, Illinois, USA -- January 05, 2018 -- Advanced Machine & Engineering (AME), a global manufacturer and distributor of precision machine tool components and metal cutting solutions, kicked off the New Year by joining the Rockford Chamber of Commerce.
The decision to rejoin was made when AME broke ground on its new facility $3.5 million expansion back in December, 2017.
“We are excited to be actively involved with the Rockford Chamber of Commerce to promote the growth of business in the community,” says Dietmar Goellner, AME President and CEO.
As a Chamber member, AME wants to contribute to the Rockford and surrounding communities through its apprenticeship and other employee development programs. AME’s leadership also wants to inspire other organizations and individuals to support the American job-reshoring initiative.
“We are certainly doing our part to grow the United States’ manufacturing sector, and passionately hope it will again reach the glory days of the past,” states Goellner.
