RLN Pneumatic -NFPA

AMLOK's pneumatic rod locks are designed to control problems like over-travel, drifting, bouncing, and reverse-traveling that are inherent in pneumatics. Their patented intensifier–a mechanically–operated mechanism that ensures quick and secure locking-enables these units to lock when there is a loss of air pressure.

features
- Precision holding (0.002-0.003 in) with fast response time (100 m/sec, optimized circuit)
- No rod displacement on engagement; extremely low backlash
- Consistent clamping force in both directions; holds loads during power/pressure loss when rated values are not exceeded
- With oversized components the contact area of the clamping collet is considerably greater than average, reducing pressure per square inch and extending service life
- Patented Intensifier: Special piston and collet-locking mechanism actuated by a spring that mechanically locks the rod; unlocks by air actuation of the piston which compresses the spring and releases the collet-locking mechanism
- High clamp force with a small footprint
- Profile matches NFPA styles for cylinders
- One-piece, solid-body design that can be mounted in any position
- Release pressure range: 4-8 bar (60 (min) to 120 (max) psi); Maximum operating pressure: 11 bar (160 psi)
- Operating media: clean, dry, filtered, compressed air
- Operating temperatures: Standard 10ºF to 180ºF (-12ºC to 82ºC) Optional 10ºF to 250ºF (-12ºC to 121ºC)
