Multi-Segment Dovetail Vise Jaws

This innovative clamping component is designed to hold parts with precise repeatability and flexibility.

The key component to this system is the multi-segment dovetail vise jaws. Your parts can be pre-machined or extruded with a matching 15° dovetail for increased holding forces over standard 90° clamping vises, especially during aggressive machining.

The AMFLEX Modular Dovetail Vise is available in lengths from 5” to 24” and can hold multiple parts with irregular shapes with the fully adjustable 2” jaw segments. With a low profile and infinite expandability, this vise allows unobstructed 5-sided machining for increased productivity and fewer setups.

Standard features include

• Two precision bushing holes allow for quick and easy precision locating of vise, with precision dowel screws.
• Bottom of dovetail maximum part width 4" or  5", other widths are available on request.
• Also available in metric for 50mm grid systems.
• Fixed and movable jaws hardened to 33-40 Rockwell, can be machined down to customer's height requirements.
